Why should I buy your soap?

Despite the name, every soap sold is absolutely no nonsense. Every bar is 100% handmade, using the cold process soaping method, cured for 6 weeks. The ingredients are natural, thoughtful and inspired.
If it wasn’t good, I certainly wouldn’t use it, and I’m a big fan of the soap I make!

How should I use this soap?

Honestly, you can use it however you'd like. Some folks like to use it as a shower bar, while some use it for hand washing exclusively. Either way, I can promise that the scents and ingredients will feel great on your skin!

Run it under some water, lather up, and go to town. If you can, try to keep your bar somewhere dry to help it last longer.

Just don't eat it.

How is cold process soap made?

Great question! The VERY short answer is that fats and lye are combined and then cured. Our friends over at Wikipedia have a way smarter answer for how this works.

Is this soap tested on animals?

Absolutely not! Unless you count me or my friends as animals.

Is this soap vegan?

I frequently use goat milk in some of the soap recipes, so only some recipes are vegan. Soaps will be marked as vegan on the product page if they don't contain any animal products.

Are your ingredients sustainable?

I’ve put a ton of time into sourcing ingredients that are sustainable, natural, and affordable. The palm oil that I use is aligned with the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil. I purchase all of the micas used from Mad Micas, who pride themselves in sourcing mica sustainably and ethically. I wouldn’t use soap with junk in it, so I wouldn’t sell soap with junk in it either.

Should I use this soap if I have a skin allergy or sensitivity?

Everyone knows their body best, and I strongly encourage you to read the list of ingredients on each bar of soap.  If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, it's probably best to avoid. As always, discontinue use if you have any sort of reaction or irritation.

Why are your bar sizes approximate?

Our bars are hand cut, and although I do my best, sometimes there's a bit of randomness to the actual weight of the bars. Don't worry, I wouldn't skimp out.

What is your return policy?

Hey, stuff happens. If for some reason you aren’t completely happy with your soap, send me a message and we’ll work things out. We’ll just need your order number.
